Dear worthy opponent,
If they awarded Pulitzer Prizes for softball blogs (as they surely should), yours would certainly be the winner. As we were reading your informative and entertaining missive, we laughed, we cried, it became a part of us. It was a moving experience. It was like we were actually there, which I guess we were, but that’s beside the point. We greatly enjoyed your game summary. We were slightly jealous no pictures of that epic contest were provided, but we’ll let that slide.
We are also happy to inform you that you have been elected our favorite team in the league (after us, of course). Truthfully, a quorum was not actually present so the vote is not official, but it was taken nonetheless. Congratulations! We appreciate your sportsmanship, humor, effort and the fact you put in print that we “put you to bed like naughty schoolchildren”. We look forward to your future updates and hope to see you in the playoffs. Best of luck the rest of the season. And as we tell everybody, if you play them, BEAT THE DYSFUNCTIONALS!”
